- hold (or are working towards completing) an undergraduate degree preferably with a major in accounting (but other qualifications considered);
- are systematic and organised with a strong attention to detail;

- embrace change and are intellectually curious;

You must be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident or have full-time working rights within Australia at the start date of your employment (you will be required to show proof of visa).

No, this is not a requirement. If you haven’t studied Accounting at school this does not preclude you from applying as long as you intend to apply to/or are completing a university course as an Accredited Tertiary Course by CAANZ (any offer of employment will be conditional on your acceptance into such course).

It’s important to complete all the sections of the application form and include as much information about yourself as you can. You will also need to submit a CV so focus on refining your CV to ideally no more than 2 pages.
Submit your application early – don’t leave it until the close date to commence your application. This allows us to receive your application in a timely manner and to then request you to complete the online assessment without it being rushed.

- Townsville:
- Undergraduate – Commencing or continuing university next year
- Graduate - Completed your degree within the past year or due to complete your degree early next year
- Darwin: Graduate positions
You will receive a confirmation email within 2 working day of us receiving your application. This email will outline the next steps and timeframes as to when you can expect to hear from us regarding further stages of the process.

The initial email you receive will include details of the online assessment required to be completed, assuming you meet our eligibility criteria. It is very important that you complete this step in a timely manner to allow us to progress your application to the next stage.
You will be asked about your motivation for wanting a role with PVW Partners and entering a career in Tax and Accounting, your time school and extra-curricular activities.
Our interview questions are motivational and behavioural-based and are related to the skills and behaviours we consider to be important for a successful career at PVW Partners.
Successful applicants will commence work at PVW Partners in mid-January following year.
Our full-time team members work a 7.5 hour day plus a one hour lunch break – so 37.5 hours per week.
We do offer paid overtime in the event that you are required to work approved extra hours and are willing/able to do so.
Townsville: Our office is at 52 Walker Street – right in the heart of the city. We have a very modern office and great facilities for our team to enjoy – including a large kitchen, balcony to enjoy a BBQ lunch from time to time and most importantly, a great coffee machine!
Cairns: The firm purchased and fitted out brand new office space in late 2023 for our team to enjoy. The new office is located at Suite 4/220-226 McLeod Street, Cairns North. This location offers the team a fantastic, modern, light-filled space and space for our team to expand.
Darwin: The Darwin office, conveniently located in the heart of the CBD at 4/38 Cavenagh Street. It boasts a sleek, modern fit-out designed to inspire productivity and collaboration, the space offers our team everything they need to thrive in a dynamic, professional environment.
