Sadly, some children don’t have access to the basic items they need when starting school.
Fuel for Schools Ltd is committed to ensuring local Townsville Primary school and high school students have access to essential schooling items such as backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles and new socks.
It’s that time of year where Fuel for Schools start putting back packs together in readiness for the commencement of 2023 school year. The school back packs have all the essentials that students need to commence learning, items such as backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles and new socks.
The charity program also focuses on helping kids start their day right by providing a nutritional breakfast to assist with cognitive function and improve their wellbeing.

Good news if you want to help, it’s easy! Next time you are grocery shopping, add one or more of the following items to your shop. You can drop off at our office 52 Walker Street, Townsville or contact the charity

- School Bags
- Socks
In 2015 they started with 7 school bags, last school year 2022 they donated 380 – this year they are targeting 500
