Townsville Chamber of Commerce Partnership

PVW Partners is proud to announce a new corporate partnership with the Townsville Chamber of Commerce 

This formal collaboration will involve a deeper level of engagement between us both with the goal of making a difference within the Townsville business community. We’ll be leveraging from the strengths and capabilities of each organisation to create a strong and dynamic partnership serving local businesses.

We have both had a long-standing relationship in and with the Townsville Business Community. We have served the Townsville community for over 100 years and were crowned the Best Employer at the Townsville Chamber's 2022 Business Awards. The Chamber has been serving and making a difference in the Townsville Business Community for over 140 years.

Both businesses have worked closely with, and advocated on behalf of, the Townsville Business Community on a range of strategic priorities, including most recently the successful lobbying to State Government for the retention of, on a longer-term basis, a 1% Regional Employer Payroll Tax Discount. This Discount had been in place for 4 years and could have been discontinued on 30 June 2023, had it not been for the strong and collaborative advocacy by the Chamber and PVW Partners.

Another priority under the Partnership agreement is for increased focus on the retention of graduating students in the Townsville region, thereby trying to stop the “brain drain” down south. PVW Partners will be joining the Chamber, its Young Chamber and James Cook University, providing support to the Mentor and Skills Development Program and the Young Ambassador Program.
